Happy Pride to You Too | RHOA S17 Reunion, Part 1 — Porsha rises, Drew brings props, and Shamea explains herself. | The peaches are back on the couch in Scotland-inspired metallics, and Part 1 of the Season 17 reunion answers a question this season has been circling for months: what does it actually look like when Porsha Williams stops defending herself and starts living?

We open with the looks, because they earned it. Porsha, K. Michelle, Angela, Pinky, Phaedra and Drew all came correct — which, by our scoring, leaves Kelli and Shamea on the outs. And a note we didn't expect to be making about a Housewives reunion: these women own their cosmetic surgery journeys now. No coy denials, no "it's just contour." Somewhere between Season 9 and Season 17, the franchise stopped pretending, and the conversation got better for it. The shade is still flying, but it plays like sport rather than warfare.

Then Drew Sidora runs away with the first half of the episode. She came with the look, she came with the props — yes, the clapboard, and yes, we're going to talk about it

and she came with reads that landed clean. Whatever the Season 17 edit did to her, she showed up on that couch as someone who wants the job. We're making the case for Drew getting another season, and we're genuinely excited about her new album, because the woman can actually sing.

The back half belongs to Porsha, and it's the story of the season. Track the trajectory: devoted wife, then messy public divorce, then open to dating, and now sitting on national television naming out loud that she is in love with a woman. Porsha rising like a phoenix — and Diane Williams supportive right alongside her, which matters more than anyone is saying.

Of course this is Atlanta, so it can't just be a nice moment. K. Michelle's "gay for pay with Sway" framing is exactly the kind of messy we came for and exactly the kind of messy that deserves scrutiny, and we get into why questioning the sincerity of someone's relationship is a different move than questioning their behavior.

And then it goes dark. Shamea Morton starts the segment appearing to support Porsha — and ends it having to explain that her "happy Pride" comment wasn't shade. We've got the receipts and the timeline on that one, including Porsha's public reply back in June that told Shamea exactly what was waiting for her at the reunion. Two months of notice. She still had to answer for it.
