Mecca and BelleJolie have their first real disagreement in ten episodes, and it is not about the curfew. Marissa and Adam survive ten episodes of playful and then lose an afternoon to pickleball. And Devin plans a date that lands, which sounds like good news until you remember what the experts told him about dimming himself.

Episode 11 is the one couple who actually repairs something. BelleJolie takes her husband to her recording studio and does the thing nobody else in this cast has managed, and Mecca says he feels understood. Meanwhile Marissa asks for one dinner, Adam tells an expert he does not know if he will be happy compromising, and Courteney keeps describing a future in Oregon that Nick is not standing in. Cameron tells Michelle he found his person, and then starts moving his lease around her, which is the difference between a feeling and a decision.

Episode 12 is the second group dinner, and it is the night everybody who was keeping the peace stops keeping it. Devin tells the room he does not feel connected to Caitlin, does not feel like they are friends, and questions whether she even likes him. Felipe admits he has been finding reasons the marriage should not work and says he feels like he is racing to fall in love before Decision Day. Courteney starts keeping a ledger out loud. Nikki and Shawn quietly become the couple everybody else is using as proof that a turnaround is possible.
