Janet Zach Kristen Feud | The Valley After Show Recap The latest stretch of The Valley After Show has unpacked some of Season 3’s most loaded moments, weaving together Zack Wickham’s long-running feud with Janet Caperna, family history reflections from the Booko and Saniei households, and the postpartum strain testing Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick.
The Zack-Janet conflict finally cracked open in Episode 5’s “Hive Mentality,” where, at Brittany’s pool party redo, Janet sat with Zack and admitted her lesson from the previous year was to “shut the f*ck up and listen a little bit more.” Zack pushed back on her old claim that Kristen had “kicked her out,” and Janet immediately conceded he was right and that her word choice mattered . The breakthrough came when Janet praised how Zack had handled being friends with both Nia and Danny and Melissa and Jasmine without picking sides, calling it something she hadn’t done right herself, before apologizing for hurting him . Zack accepted, telling her it was exactly what he’d wanted to hear.
The Booko family loomed over the After Show conversation around Kristen and Luke. After their explosive Episode 4 date-night fight, Nia Booko told Kristen that she still feels Danny doesn’t fully understand her postpartum experience at times, noting that partners try but “you’ll just never have the experience that we’ve experienced,” while Danny warned Luke that the first year with a baby is one of the toughest seasons of life, citing sleep deprivation that made him and Nia say things to each other they never imagined they would . Michelle’s own family backstory surfaced earlier in the episode when she revealed that her gymnastics career, which had structured her entire childhood, ended at 15 when her parents divorced .
Janet Zach Kriaten Feud | Kristen and Luke’s marital woes were the emotional core. Their argument grew out of Luke going out with friends, coming home drunk, sleeping on the couch, and not helping with three-month-old Kaia Lily the next morning . On the After Show, Kristen offered Luke grace in hindsight, saying it must feel helpless not to share her pain, while admitting that at the time she just felt he didn’t get it . Luke confessed regret, and Kristen acknowledged that not knowing what she needed made it harder on him too. They agreed couples therapy was the path forward.
